Christian Education

Christian Education is focused on the lifelong challenges of faithfulness, productivity, service and accountability in Jesus Christ. The Promise Land Church of God’s Christian Education Department seeks to serve the Lord and each member of the congregation by offering an educational program that promotes a spirit of excellence.
The Christian Education Department has worked diligently to establish a program that will minister to all ages. It is the vision and goal of this department to minister to the entire person. Below is a brief description of our Sunday school and Family Training Hour programs that is up and running here at Promise Land Church Of God.

Sunday school:
Our Sunday school Program is held each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. -10:45 a.m. Our classes range from nursery to Senior Adult. We are staffed with teachers that are well trained and prepared to deliver the lessons in a timely fashion. The Church uses the New Life Curriculum by Pathway Press. We find this curriculum to be most effective and very much age appropriate.
Sunday school is not a thing of the past but a tool to train the entire family in the truths of the gospel.

Family Training Hour:
Our Family Training Hour is held each Wednesday Night at 7:00 p.m. Our program offers a wide range of learning opportunities for all ages. Classes are listed below:

1. Adult Bible Study
2. Teen Class
3. Girls Clubs (Joybells)
4. Boys Clubs (Soldiers of the Cross)
5. New Converts Class
